With the opening of the installation/intervention SINERGIAS(Synergies), conceived by the artists Lou Germain,Beatriz Castela, Marcos Polo and Jorge Gil, today (June 4) at the Vostell Malpartida Museum, we have concluded the extensive inaugural programme of Cáceres Abierto 2017 that began on June 1.
In a unique space such as this Museum, and with the support of its director, José Antonio Agúndez, artist Lou Germain, curator Jorge Díez Acón, the first deputy mayor of Malpartida de Cáceres, Antonio Jesús del Moral Agúndez, and the director general of Libraries, Museums and Cultural Heritage, Francisco Pérez Urban, the opening ceremony of SINERGIAS was held.
In the morning, about a hundred people visited this installation, which combines art and new technologies to connect the town of Malpartida and the Museum in real time, and about which we will not reveal more so that when you visit, you are as amazed by it as we were, although you can find more information at: www.caceresabierto.com/sinergias.
It is a site-specific intervention, initially conceived for this place on the occasion of the Museum’s 40th anniversary and now presented as part of Cáceres Abierto.
The installation can be visited until June 25 from Tuesday to Saturday 9:30– 13:30 and 17:00– 20:00, and on Sundays 9:30– 14:30. During the same schedule, the installation can also be viewed at the Plaza Mayor of Malpartida de Cáceres.
