News: THE CÁCERES ABIERTO EXHIBITION OPENED TODAY AT THE CÁCERES MUSEUM

The museum hosts several audiovisual pieces, the installation of Diana Larrea and the exhibition of Azucena Vieites.

Presentations and panels of the second day of Cáceres Abierto at the Cáceres Museum ended yesterday (Friday, June 2) with the opening of the video installation “Tabú” (Taboo) by Blanca Graciaand the beginning of the screening of video pieces “¡Habla!” (Speak!) and “Hacia lo salvaje” (Into the wild) by Cristina Lucas, and “Ingenio” (Ingenuity) and “Fluye la carne” (The flowing flesh) by Marina Núñez.

Furthermore, the exhibition “Producciones low-fi” (low-fi productions) by Azucena Vieitesand the installation “Microuniverso” (Micro-universe) by Diana Larreawere also open to the public, the latter being exhibited in the Arab Cistern of the museum.

 

The Museum opening hours until June 25, are as follows:

  • Casa de las Veletas: Tuesday to Saturday 9:00–15:30 and 17:00–20:30. Sunday 10:00–15:30.
  • Casa de los Caballos: Tuesday to Saturday 9:00–15:30. Sunday 10:00–15:30. (for the temporary exhibition of Cáceres Abierto only)
