On Saturday, April 27, the programme of Cáceres Abierto began at the Atrium of the Iglesia de San Francisco church, where the performanceVestir el palo(Dress the pole) was carried out, a traditional dance using ribbons embroidered with texts by Wolf Vostell, by San Antonio de Padua dance group from Jaraíz de la Vera, which complemented the intervention Espigar la memoria(Gleaning the memory), both conceived byMaría Jesús Manzanares Serrano. At the Cáceres Museum, a while later, the projects of Ana H. del Amo, Raúl Belinchón,Pepe Buitrago, María Jesús Manzanares, Rosell Meseguerand Carme Nogueirawere presented during a panel discussion moderated by Olga Ayuso. In the evening, at the Public Library of Cáceres, a panel discussion on Art and Comicswas held with Max, Laura Pérez Vernetti and Fermín Solís, moderated by Jorge Díez. And finally, at El Brocense Art Gallery, the project of La Más Bellawas presented alongside the performance La más MOCHA, created by Isabel León. An exceptional touch to a fantastic week packed with public art, presentations, exhibitions and panels within the programme of Cáceres Abierto 2019. All these interventions and exhibitions can be visited until 16 June.
